↳ Process · how a pair gets made

Process

Four steps, no shortcuts. 6–10 weeks from deposit to delivery.

A commission with the atelier follows four steps. Each one is built around the same idea: you make the call, I do the craft, and we sit with each decision before moving on.

01 · Consult.

A 30-minute call to talk shoe, mood, references, and budget. No charge, no obligation. The point is to find out whether we're a good fit for each other before any money changes hands.

02 · Concept.

I sketch two directions, pick swatches, and source the base pair myself — brand-new, unworn, the silhouette and size you chose. I send the sketches over for your sign-off; nothing else moves until you approve.

$250 holding deposit reserves your slot on the bench at this point. It's refundable until I begin sourcing materials (typically 5 business days after the deposit clears).

03 · Build.

Hand-set, crystal by crystal. Most pairs take 30–60 hours on the bench, spread over 6–10 weeks. I send weekly photos — usually one good shot, usually on Friday.

04 · Deliver.

Custom box, certificate of authenticity, care card, and a small envelope of spare crystals. Hand-off in person if you're in NYC, FedEx 2-day insured if you're not.
